Kate Swayze, NCIDQ
Senior Interior Designer
Kate is a certified interior designer who has been designing residential and commercial interiors in midcoast Maine since 2016. As a designer, Kate enjoys listening to and collaborating with clients to create spaces that enrich their lives. She believes that great design stands the test of time and increases the overall life of a building.
Coming from a design-build background, Kate brings valuable knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and building products to each project. She’s skilled at drafting and rendering her designs, using a range of software including Revit and Enscape.
In addition to residential home design she has experience designing commercial retail spaces and hotel design. She has a bachelors degree in interior design from Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD).
After spending summers in Maine from a young age, Kate made the move permanent in 2016 and currently lives in Owls Head with her husband Parker. Outside of WRKroom, Kate enjoys spending time with family and friends, browsing art galleries, and watching F1 racing.
Ashley Wolf
Interior Designer
Ashley has been supporting and leading residential interior design projects in Maine and New England for over 10 years. In the summer of 2024 she relocated to the Midcoast from South Portland where she had worked for Huffard House Interior Design for 8 years.
Ashley enjoys designing spaces with the clients’ unique needs, interests and experiences in mind. She believes that a designers job is to connect the clients’ project with vetted service providers and share quality options and recommendations to help guide their decision-making. She enjoys streamlining interior renovation and new construction projects by helping clients make and communicate design decisions more efficiently.
Ashley is especially passionate about the decorative layers of interior design and procuring quality rugs, fabrics, furniture and fixtures. When not creating for WRKroom, Ashley enjoys spending time with her young family, traveling, skiing, hiking and painting.
Ashley has a BA in International Business from Richmond, the American University in London.
