WRKroom’s Design Team
WRKroom Interiors is a full-service interior design studio based in Midcoast Maine.
With backgrounds in design/build, interiors, and project management, we bring both creativity and practicality to every project.
Whether we're partnering with builders, architects, or homeowners, we care deeply about the details, the process, and creating spaces that feel thoughtful, personal, and truly complete.
WRKroom’s Design Approach
As a team, our complementary skills and experiences give us a well-rounded approach to our work. Connecting all of our unique backgrounds and strengths is our passion for shared values that shape every project.
-
Design should be beautiful, but it should also work for the way you live. We create spaces that are unique, timeless, and tailored to each client’s needs and style.
-
We believe the best results come from listening first. Your story, lifestyle, and preferences are at the center of our design process.
-
We work with a network of skilled local contractors and craftspeople who share our standards for quality, care, and communication.
-
From materials and finishes to fixtures and furnishings, we source and recommend pieces that are made to last and feel just right in your space.
-
We bring clarity and structure to what can be a complex process, helping projects run smoothly through strong communication, detailed planning, and honest timelines.
Meet our WRKroom Team
Kate is a certified interior designer who has been designing residential and commercial interiors in midcoast Maine since 2016. In addition to residential home design she has experience designing commercial retail spaces and hotel design. She has a bachelors degree in interior design from Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD).

Ashley Wolf, BA
Interior Designer
Ashley has been working on home interior projects in Maine and New England for over 10 years. In the summer of 2024 she relocated to the midcoast from South Portland where she had worked for Huffard House Interior Design for 8 years.
Ashley is especially passionate about small space maximization, the updating of older homes and the decorative layers of interior design. She enjoys working with clients to build the layers of a comfortable, personal interior and has built relationships with domestic and international vendors to procure quality rugs, fabrics, furniture and fixtures. She brings value to interior projects through artful schemes, her ability to source or have made that perfect piece and her passion for accents.
When not creating for WRKroom, Ashley enjoys spending time with her young family, gardening, skiing, hiking and painting.
Ashley has a BA in International Business from Richmond, the American University in London.
Ashley spent the last ten years leading operations for a Midcoast Maine design-build firm, where she developed a strong foundation in coordinating complex projects and maintaining seamless communication across clients, subcontractors, vendors, and other industry professionals. Her personal relationships within the local community are invaluable to our clients.
Ashley is passionate about helping people reimagine their spaces—no matter their style or budget—and is committed to making the process of renovating or building a home less stressful. Her clear, compassionate communication style helps guide clients through the design process with confidence, care, and clarity.
Rooted in the Midcoast Maine community, Ashley values the relationships she builds through her work and takes pride in being a reliable, thoughtful presence from concept to completion. Whether supporting the design team or managing day-to-day operations of WRKroom, she is driven by a desire to see every client not just satisfied—but truly excited about the space they’ve created.
Ashley is a graduate of Simmons College. Outside of the office, you’ll find Ashley gardening, birdwatching, and spending time with her partner Ben and their beloved dog, Ginger. She also enjoys nurturing her collection of houseplants, the art of mixing drinks and gathering with family and friends.
